Performance Test
@ Connect the car radio to the stereo outputmeter. Connect the RF
output of the signal generator to the antenna socket of the car
radio, and connect the signal output of the stereo coder to the
input of the signal generator (FM-external modulation).
@ Switch the signal generator to FM external modulation, and
adjust the FM range to about 100 MHz, and the RF output voltage
to about E' 46—60 dBuV.
@ Stereo coder: preemphasis, pilot 19 kHz, 1 kHz, M/R = L
press pushbutton.
@ Adjust the slide control
"Pilot-Amplitude"
to 3%.

@ Adjust to 20 kHz deviation with the slide control 'Signal-
Amplitude" and, with the slide control ''Pilot-Amplitude", read-

Mono/stereo switch-over
Align the car radio to the frequency of the signal generator, adjust
4 Watt with the L-control and, with the balance control R 1532, adjust
to channel equality. Switch off the modulation of the LH channel at
the stereo coder (depress pushbutton M+S/R, outputmeter indi-
cates the channel separation) 'Stereo". Reduce the RF signal
voltage of the signal generator until the channel separation is
interrupted again. Mono". Mono/stereo transition for U-antennas:
approx. E' 40 dBuV.

Prueba de funcionamiento
@ Unirelautoradio con el outputmetro estéreo. Unirla salida AF del
generador de ondas con la entrada de antena, la salida de senal
del coder estéreo con la entrada del generador de ondas (Modu-
lacion externa FM).
@ Conectar el generador de ondas a modulacién externa FM,
colocar la gama de FM a aprox.
100 MHz, la tensién de salida de
AF a aprox. E' 46—60 dBuV.

@ Coder estéreo: Preemfasis, Piloto 19 kHz, 1 kHz, M/R =L
pulsar la tecla.
@ Colocar a 3% el regulador pulsor "Amplitud piloto". (Al tope
izquierdo).

@ Colocar con el regulador pulsor "'Amplitud de sefal" 20 kHz de
elevacion, regular luego a 27 kHz de elevacién de frecuencia
con el regulador pulsor ''Amplitud piloto"'.
