ATTENTION

ceed 50°C and does not fall below -20°C during work.
ATTENTION
The product is part of the 20V IXES series and may on-
ly be operated with batteries of this series. Batteries
may only be charged with battery chargers of this se-
ries. Observe the manufacturer's instructions.

Inserting/removing the battery (21)
in the battery mount (8) (Fig. 7)
Inserting the batteries
1. Push the both batteries (21) into the battery mount (8).
The batteries (21) click into place audibly.
Removing the batteries
1. Press the unlock button (22) of the batteries (21) and
remove them from the battery mount (8).

Setting the speed (Fig. 8)
Notes:
Low speed for light material on the lawn.
Moderate speed for grass and light leaves on asphalt or
solid ground.
High speed for large garden waste.
1. Turn the speed control (3) to adjust the motor speed
from level 1 - 6 to the material to be removed.
10.3
Operating the cordless leaf
vacuum/blower (Fig. 1)
WARNING
Danger of injury!
If the collection bag is not secured during operation of
the cordless leaf vacuum/blower, this can lead to inju-
ries from flying parts.

Only use the leaf vacuum when the collection bag is
properly fitted.
–
Close the zip of the collection bag.
–
Ensure that the collection bag is not damaged.
WARNING
Danger of injury!
If you direct the airflow at people, animals or objects,
this can cause injury and damage.

Direct the air flow away from you.
–
Never direct the airflow at other people, animals or
objects.
–
Do not blow away hard objects such as stones or
branches.
Notes:
When operating the cordless leaf vacuum/blower, we rec-
ommend a medium/high speed.
Do not vacuum too many leaves at once, do not collect
any wet grass or leaves, this can lead to blockages. Do
not vacuum any hard materials.
1. Place your left hand on the front handle (1) and your
right hand on the rear handle (5). When operating the
cordless leaf vacuum/blower, the collection bag (12)
should be on the right-hand side of the operator.
2. Always hold the product with both hands during the
work. Grasp with both handles (1 + 5).
3. Move the product gently using the wheels (15) across
the surface.
4. When operating the cordless leaf vacuum/blower,
check the fill level of the collection bag (12) on the
viewing window (9). The sucked-in leaves are shred-
ded to reduce volume, blown through the ejection port
and collected in the collection bag (12).

Switching the product on/off (Fig.
8)
WARNING
Danger of injury from rotating tool!
After switching off the product, the impeller continues to
rotate for some time. Wait until the product has come to
a standstill.
1. When using as a leaf vacuum, make sure that the col-
lection bag (12) is properly fitted.
2. To switch on the product, push the on/off switch (4).
3. To switch it off, simply release the on/off switch (4).

Emptying the collection bag (12)
(Fig. 5)
Notes:
Do not vacuum too many leaves at once, do not collect
any wet grass or leaves, this can lead to blockages. Do
not vacuum any hard materials.
If the collection bag is too full this reduces the perfor-
mance of the product and can cause the motor to over-
heat.
The collection bag works like a filter, similar to an ordinary
household vacuum cleaner. For this reason, it is best not
to fill the collection bag completely and remove bulky ob-
jects immediately.
1. Switch off the engine.
2. Wait until the product has come to a standstill.
3. Remove both batteries (21).
4. Open the zip of the collection bag (12) and empty the
collection bag (12) without detaching them from the
outlet opening (19).

Remove blockage
WARNING
Danger of injury!
If you remove blockages with your bare hands, you may
injure yourself.

Wear protective gloves.

Use suitable tools (e.g. a wooden stick).
