Mounting

CAUTION!
 The dial thermometers must not be directly exposed to aggressive media. Consider the protection
type during the installation.
 Strong vibrations that affect the thermometer impair the device's function and operating life. Install
the device, as far as possible, so that it is free from vibration.
3.1

Ambient temperatures

CAUTION!
 Dial thermometers with an organic or gas charge have the greatest measuring accuracy at an am-
bient temperature of 23°C on the housing and capillary. Display anomalies lead to display errors.
 When used outside, rapidly changing ambient temperatures can lead to condensation on the front
pane. This does not impair the device's function.
Position
The nameplate (A) is adhesion bonded to the back of the housing. An example is shown below.
