Installing the plaster guard
and cartridge
□
Install the o-rings (1) and cartridge (2) onto the
valve body (D). Make sure the cartridge (2) is
installed correctly. Slide the bonnet (3) over the
cartridge (2) and thread them onto the valve
body (D). Tighten bonnet (3) securely with
adjustable wrench until the o-ring (1) on the
valve body (D) is covered completely.
Install the sleeve (4), and hand-tighten it only.

Place the plaster guard (L) onto the valve
body (D) and secure with the screws (K).
NOTE: Be sure to position the plaster guard (L) correctly
onto the valve body (D), with the side marked "SHOWER"
facing upward.

Installing the tub spout
□
The tub spout outlet pipe should project 1-1/2 in.
to 2-1/2 in. from the nished wall.
□
Place the spout (J) onto quick connection until
the spout (J) becomes ush with the nished
wall and tighten the screw (1) with with the
Hex wrench (Hex: 3.97mm, O) provided.
NOTE: Use emery paper to remove burrs. Clean debris.
