13. Maintenance
13.1. General details
To carry out maintenance tasks on the equipment, it is essential to read, understand and follow all the instructions
in this manual. Failure to comply could cause damage and injury to users and the equipment.
In the event of any doubt or problem related to the equipment purchased and that is not covered in this manual, it
will be necessary to contact Master Products or any of its official distributors to request technical assistance.
Preventive maintenance is a necessary safety practice. It is carried out with only a few basic steps and will help en-
sure a long, useful and reliable life of the equipment.
Some components, especially silicone combs, are susceptible to retaining and accumulating resinous particles due
to the nature of the product to be treated. Over time, this can lead to excessive friction and ultimately interfere with
the overall performance of the equipment.
Keeping the equipment clean, disinfected and sterilized is very important for the non-contamination of the product
to be treated. Basically, the maintenance tasks to be carried out on the equipment are exclusively cleaning. The
following is the recommended general cleaning procedure to follow.
13.2. Cleaning procedure
Maintenance work will always be done with the equipment stopped and with the electrical
connector disconnected. Always use protective gloves for maintenance operations.
1. First of all, press the OFF switch of the equipment to turn it off. Next, disconnect it from the electrical current by
unplugging it.
The equipment must be stopped and disconnected to be able to manipulate it.
