The nature and variety of the product are also aspects that condition its effectiveness. All those flowers with an
humidity percentage that is not among the values recommended by the manufacturer will not be processed effec-
tively.
11.2. Product Preparation
In order to work with Master Seeds 200, it is essential to previously separate the dried flowers from the branches.
This process can be done manually, or accelerated with equipment from the MASTER BUCKERS range sold by Mas-
ter Products or any of its authorized distributors.
11.3. How to use the equipment
First of all, connect the equipment to the electrical current and press the two green ON switches on the control pa-
nel to turn on the shelling assembly, on the one hand, and the ventilation system on the other. Next, it is necessary
to gradually introduce dried flowers into the inlet hopper, leaving a time interval between loading and loading to
prevent too much product from accumulating in the equipment and stopping due to obstruction.
In the first stage of the process, the product accumulated in the shelling assembly is gently and constantly swept
along the semicircular stainless-steel grid by two silicone combs that rotate as long as the system's red OFF switch
is not pressed sheller. The shelling originates, therefore, from the friction to which the dried flowers are subjected
by the silicone combs along the semicircular stainless-steel grid.
¡IMPORTANT!
The product to be processed must be dry and have no branches or trunks.
Do not process recently harvested product because the equipment will stop due to obstruction.
In the second stage of the process, the seeds are separated from the possible plant material housed in them by
the action of a ventilation system. The plant material is stored in an easily removable filter/collection bag, and the
seeds, on the other hand, are deposited in a plastic bucket.
The machine is equipped with a potentiometer on the control panel that allows adjusting the speed of the ventila-
tion system. This regulation is necessary depending on the variety of the product to be processed and the size of
the seeds.
Master Products recommends starting with a moderate speed and depending on the result obtained, adjust it.
When the plant material does not take off from the seeds, it is due to a power shortage or speed of the ventilation
system. If the speed is increased, the air flow is increased and the separation of plant material is optimized. It is
important to keep in mind that excessive ventilation speed can cause the seeds to end up being stored in the filter/
collection bag. In this situation, it is necessary to reduce the power or fan speed.
Seeds removed and stored in the plastic bucket can be reprocessed for further cleaning.
