Prior to first use always read the safety instruc-
tions!
— Failure to observe these operating instructions
and the safety instructions may result in damage
to the device and dangers for the operator and
other persons.
All persons involved in the commissioning, op-
eration and maintenance of the device must be
appropriately ualified
The safety instructions must not be lost – give
them to the operator.
Danger due to ejected parts
If a workpiece, an accessory or even the tool
bit itself breaks, parts can be thrown out at high
speed.
When using the threaded fastener tool, always
wear impact-resistant eye protection. The level of
protection required should be specially assessed
for every particular use.
It must be ensured that the workpiece is safely
secured.
Hazards due to entanglement/
drawing in
Hazards due to entanglement/drawing in can
lead to su ocation, scalping and or cutting
injuries, if loose clothing, personal jewellery, neck
chains, hair or gloves are not kept away from the
tool and its accessories.
Gloves can get caught in the rotating drive,
which can lead to injuries or fractures of the
fingers
When using rotating drive sockets and exten-
sion bars, the entanglement/drawing in of rubber
or metal-reinforced gloves can occur easily.
Do not wear loose fitting gloves or gloves with
cut o or worn glove fingers
Never hold the drive, socket or drive extension.
Keep your hands away from the rotating drive.

Operating hazards
Tools must be maintained regularly, to check that
the rated values required from the present part of
ISO 11148 and labels are legible and indicated
on the machine. The employee/user must contact
the manufacturer to obtain replacement identifi-
cation labels as necessary.
Never use a damaged threaded fastener tool.
Use only genuine Würth accessories and
s are arts
When using the tool, the operator's hands are
exposed to hazards due to crushing, impacts,
cutting, friction and heat. Wear suitable gloves to
protect the hands.
The operators and maintenance personnel must
be physically strong enough to handle the weight
and power of the tool.
Hold the tool correctly: Be ready to counter any
normal or sudden movements - have both hands
ready.
Ensure your body is balanced and that you are
standing securely.
Switch the power supply control device back on
in the event of a loss of power.
Use only the lubricants recommended by the
manufacturer.
In cases in which aids are necessary to absorb
the reaction torque, it is recommended that a
hanger is used whenever possible. If this is not
possible, side grips are recommended for tools
with a straight grip and machines with a pistol
grip. In all cases, it is recommended that aids are
used to absorb the reaction torque if it is greater
than 4 Nm for tools with a straight grip, greater
than 10 Nm for tools with a pistol grip and
greater than 60 Nm for angle drivers.
Fingers may be crushed in nut wrenches with an
open at head
Do not use the tool in narrow spaces and take
care to ensure you hands are not crushed
between tool and workpiece, especially during
unscrewing.
