Self-diagnosis display
The camera has a self-diagnosis
display. This function displays
the camera condition with five-
digits (a combination of a letter
and figures) on the LCD screen.
If this occurs check the
following code chart. The five-
digit display informs you of the
camera's current condition. The
last two digits (indicated by

(0) will differ depending on

You can reverse the camera
malfunction yourself.

+ Trouble is with the disk drive.
—Tur the power off and on again.
C:13:00
e An unformatted disk is installed.
—+Format the disk. (p. 33)
e An unusable disk with the camera is
installed.
—>Change the disk. (p. 8)
E:91:00
e A camera malfunction which you can not
E:61:00
reverse has occurred.
— Contact your Sony dealer or local
authorized Sony service facility and
inform them of the five digits.
