Operation
Have riving knife and blade guard installed and properly set.
Secure saw on workstand with
clamps.
Set flipstop to desired workpiece
width.
The flipstop extents up to 2600 mm.
A clean cut is achieved only with a sharp and properly set blade. Set depth of cut 5 - 10 mm higher than the
workpiece thickness.
For cutting faced chipboard we recommend using a special blade with stock-no. 091 001 0166.
6.1 Riving Knife Setting
The riving knife prevents the work from closing behind the blade, thus stalling it and causing kickback. Except
for set-in work, never perform any cutting operation without the riving knife in place and properly set.
Set riving knife so that gap between riving knife and sawblade is not more than 10 mm and its top is not more
than 2 mm below the crown of the blade.

Care and Maintenance
Due to the high quality material and components care and maintenance are kept to a minimum. Regularly apply
a light coat of oil to the guide bars and rollers to keep from rust. The ball bearings inside the rollers are lubricated
for life.
The rollers are factory set. If the carriage extrusion is replaced or a new traversing bracket (353) is installed,
resetting of the rollers may be required. To adjust, loosen the fastening bolts of the lower rollers. Turn eccentric
bush (326) as required to eliminate play.
Hang roller carrige extrusion onto
double collar bolts.
Swing flipstop up and place work-
piece on table. Start saw and square
the workpiece.
