Removing the toilet lid
ƒ Lift up the toilet lid and toilet seat.
ƒ Remove both set screws from the hinges (D) using an Allen key (2.5 mm).
EN
ƒ Hold the toilet lid and seat with both hands and pull them gently upwards.
When mounting, press both hinges simultaneously - with a little pressure - onto
the fastening bolts until they audibly engage.
Shower arm
ƒ Slightly turn the "Water quantity" rotary knob (A) for self-cleaning: the shower
arm does not extend and the water washes around the arm, thus cleaning it.
ƒ In the event of stubborn soiling, turn the rotary knob until the shower arm (C)
extends with a small jet of water. Remove the dirt with the aid of a suitable
brush or a soft cloth. Always use a mild cleaning agent to do this.
ƒ When using cleaning agents on the shower arm unit, ensure you remove all
residues of cleaning agents that you spray on the shower arm unit with water.
If the cleaning agent remains on the shower arm and is retracted again, it can
stick and will not work properly in the long term. Wiping with a damp cloth
reliably removes the cleaning agent.
Descaling
If using water with a very high lime content, lime deposit can build up on the
shower head, shower arm, the protective device and the hygiene system. There
are two procedures for removal:
(1) Descaling with commercially available limescale remover
Limescale deposits can be removed with a commercial limescale remover or
vinegar-based cleaner, or replaced in the event of more persistent deposits.
These components are available as spare parts (see "Spare Parts").
