8. POWER OUTAGES
In the event of a power cut, the heater will not operate, but will restart in the same mode as before when the
power is restored.
All the previous settings will remain unchanged (temperatures and programmes), "EXCEPT THE CLOCK
AND THE CURRENT DAY OF THE WEEK".
If, during an absence from your home, you find that the heating appliances do not work :
Once the current is restored, the clock and the current time must be reprogrammed.
AVERAGE AMBIENT HEAT CALCULATOR
The power required from the radiator depends on the size of the room, its insulation, the outside temperature, etc.
The following table gives average recommendations for the power required, depending on the size and height of
the room with standard insulation. If the ceiling is higher or the insulation is poor, we recommend choosing a
heater with a higher output.
Power
Room size, m² (based on ceiling
height 2.4m)
600 W
5 to 6 m²
1000 W
7 to 9 m²
1500 W
10 to 15 m²
1800 W
16 to 18 m²
9. SAFETY
• Do not cover the appliance. Do NOT use it to dry clothes. If it is covered, there is a serious
risk of overheating.
• The appliance is fitted with a safety device that switches it off if it overheats. It will
automatically restart when the problem is solved. If this problem recurs, it may lead to
damage or faults that are not covered by the warranty.
10. RECOMMENDATIONS
• Remember that the economy mode should be used when there is no one in the room or during the night.
Comfort mode provides the desired temperature when the room is occupied.
• The antifreeze mode should only be used in extremely cold climates.
• Remember to maintain intermediate temperatures to achieve the best performance.
11. MAINTENANCE
• This heating system requires no special maintenance.
• When the appliance is first put into service each year, we recommend that you clean all dust and other dirt from
the outside surfaces (ALWAYS COOL AND OFF), as well as any dust that has accumulated inside the appliance.
• Dust should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth. ALWAYS WITH the HEATER OFF and COLD.
• NEVER USE SOLVENTS, CLEANERS OR ABRASIVES.
