2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Remove the plug from the appliance socket. Do NOT pull on the cable.
• Do not leave the power cable in contact with the appliance when it is switched on.
• Keep the appliance away from combustible materials such as curtains,
carpets, furniture, etc. when in operation.
• DO NOT COVER THE APPLIANCE. DO NOT USE THE
APPLIANCE TO DRY LAUNDRY.
If the radiator is covered, there is a serious risk of overheating.
• DANGER: If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
by its after-sales service, by fully qualified personnel, to avoid any dangerous
situation.
• If the radiator is installed in a bathroom, it must be installed by a qualified
electrician in volume 3. (Figure 2, page 6).
• The appliance must not be placed under or in front of a power socket.
• When disposing of the appliance, you must comply with all the
requirements of current legislation on waste treatment and
recycling.
• The installation must be carried out in accordance with current electrical legislation.
• This radiator must be earthed.
• The appliance must be installed so that the power socket is always accessible.
• This appliance cannot be recessed into a wall. Always observe the
safety distances (Figures 3 and 4).
* A locking system is provided to prevent children from playing with
the appliance's programming.
• This radiator is not intended for use by children or persons with a physical,
mental or sensory disability, or with limited experience or knowledge,
except under the supervision of a person responsible for their safety and
in possession of the relevant operating instructions. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
* Children under the age of 3 should be kept away from the heating
appliance, unless they are under constant supervision.
* Children between the ages of 3 and 8 should only switch the appliance on and off if it has
been placed or installed in its normal operating position and if they have been supervised or
instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the risks involved. Children aged
between 3 and 8 must not connect, adjust or clean the appliance or carry out maintenance on
it.
