Your demolition hammer should only be serviced by the
manufacturer's internal service personnel, or other
qualified personnel, replacing any necessary parts with
original parts.
The auxiliary handle (7) is factory fitted. However, before
use, you should adjust the position according to the user or
the task to be done.
The position of the auxiliary handle can be adjusted to
ensure a safe and fatigue-free working posture for the user.
1. Unscrew the auxiliary handle clamping knob (6)
counterclockwise;
2. Turn the handle and adjust to the desired position;
3. Tighten the knob, turning it clockwise;
If it is necessary to remove the auxiliary handle, use the
following procedure to reassemble it.
4. Place the auxiliary handle clamp on the hammer;
5. Insert the fixing bolt;
6. Adjust the auxiliary handle to the desired position and
tighten the knob, turning clockwise.
Never fit or change the accessory while the hammer is
running. Always switch the hammer off before carrying out
these operations.
With the SDS-Hex chuck, you can change accessories more
easily and without additional effort.
1. Clean the accessory and grease the fitting grooves;
2. Pull the lock/unlock lever (2) and turn it 180° clockwise;
3. Insert the pointed or flat chisel into the hexagonal drive,
making sure that the flat part is facing upwards;
4. Ensure that the accessory is secure by turning the
lock/unlock lever 180° counterclockwise;
5. To remove the accessory, follow the same procedure.
The demolition hammer has been designed to perform
drilling and chiselling operations in concrete, brick, stone
and asphalt.
When you work with the demolition hammer, you should
take into consideration some cares and procedures of use:
▪ Always work with the auxiliary handle fitted and hold the
hammer with both hands. Loss of control of the
demolition hammer can cause serious injury;
▪ Do not apply too much pressure on the demolition
hammer against the workpiece/object. If the speed
drops abruptly, reduce the pressure on the hammer
immediately;
▪ Never put down the demolition hammer before the drill
bit, pointed or flat chisel, is completely stopped;
▪ Wear hearing protection while operating the demolition
hammer. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss;
▪ Work in such a way that the power cord is always behind
the demolition hammer during operation;
▪ Switch off the demolition hammer immediately if any of
the following problems occur:
- Sparks in the brushes and smoke appearance;
- Grease leakage through the ventilation slots;
- Damage om the demolition hammer housing;
- Damage to the "ON/OFF" switch;
- If you sense smoke or burning smell.
