8. Place actuator with housing nut on valve body and position: Align through-bead of diaphragm parallel to sealing web.
DANGER!
Do not grease the housing nut!
The use of grease, especially on amorphous plastics, can cause stress cracking on the valve body. There can be consequences after
contact with hazardous medium. The functioning of the valve is no longer guaranteed.
► Do not use any grease on the threaded connection between the housing nut and the valve body.
9. Move actuator to "OPEN" position. Position indicator is at the top.
10. Tighten the housing nut hand-tight. The diaphragm is centered.
