1. Insert the battery pack (9) into the oscillating multi tool
slot and press the battery until you hear the "click" of the
lock/unlock button (8). At this point the battery is fully
secured;
2. To remove, press the lock/unlock button and pull out the
battery.
Use VITO's 20V lithium-ion batteries.
1. Place the battery (9) in the charger as you would place it
in the machine;
2. Plug the charger into the socket and let it charge.
Sometimes at the end of charging, both the battery and the
charger can be hot, but this does not mean that they are
malfunctioning.
Let the battery cool down before fitting into the machine.
Remove
the
battery
accessories.
1. Move the quick-release lever (6), releasing the fixing pin;
2. Place the accessory in the oscillating multi tool;
3. Move the quick-release lever (6) back to the starting
position;
4. Reinsert the battery pack.
To change the accessory, repeat the procedure.
▪ Use only sanding sheets with matching dimensions and
holes;
▪ Place the sanding sheet on the triangle backing pad (2).
Check that the holes match;
▪ To remove the sanding sheet, simply pull.

While operating the oscillating multi tool you must consider
some precautions and procedures of use:
▪ Hold the oscillating multi tool firmly. Loss of control of
the oscillating multi tool can cause injury;
▪ When working on small or loose workpieces, use
clamping devices to fix workpieces in a stable and
secure manner;
▪ Do not apply too much pressure on the oscillating multi
tool against the workpiece/object. If the speed drops
abruptly, reduce the pressure on the oscillating multi
tool immediately;
▪ Never let go of the oscillating multi tool before the
triangle backing pad (2) has completely stopped;
▪ Wear hearing protection while operating the oscillating
multi tool. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss;
▪ Turn off the oscillating multi tool immediately if any of
the following problems arise:
- Grease leakage from the ventilation slots;
- Damage on the housing;
- Damage on the "ON/OFF" switch;
- Appearance of smoke or a burning smell.
The oscillating multi-tool is equipped with a speed control
dial (10), with 6 speed levels.
Level 1: Lowest speed.
Level 6: Highest speed.
