Using memory media
There are connections for a USB stick or another USB device (MP3 player), SD card and an
AUX IN slot on the front of the device.
USB operation
Attach a USB device to the USB slot.
Select the USB position on the operating switch.
The
USB icon is displayed on the top edge of the display.
The number of folders on the medium is shown on the left
side of the display, the number of tracks on the right.
Card operation
Insert an SD memory card into the card slot. Ensure that the diago-
nally notched corner is at the front right and the contacts are un-
derneath.
Select the USB position on the operating switch.
Then use the SOURCE button to select "CARD" mode.
The
card icon is displayed on the top edge of the display.
The number of folders on the medium is shown on the left side of the display, the number
of tracks on the right.
To remove the card, press it slightly into the device until it is ejected.
NOTE
Do not use force to insert memory cards. They only fit if inserted correctly.
USB and card
If a USB device and a card are inserted at the same time, the device accesses the USB de-
vice.
Use the SOURCE button to switch between USB and card operation. You can see which
mode is selected by the
AUX-IN operation
You can connect a device with a LINE-OUT output (e.g. a CD play-
er) to device's AUX-IN input using a cable with a 3.5 mm mini-
jack.
Select the AUX-IN position on the operating switch. The display
will read "AUX".
