16.2. Recording from a cassette
You can find out more about handling a cassette and the playback functions from
section "15. Cassette operation" on page 59.
Set the operating mode switch to TAPE.
Insert a cassette.
Insert a USB storage device into the USB port or insert a MicroSD card into the
MICRO SD slot.
If necessary, select the desired place on the cassette onto which you want to re-
cord.
Start the recording on the USB storage device or the MicroSD card by pressing
and holding the REC button until REC appears on the display.
Immediately start cassette playback:
To end the recording, press the DEL button. REC no longer appears on the dis-
play.
16.3. Recording from the radio
You can find out more about handling the radio from section "12. Radio" on page
54.
Set the operating mode switch to FM/DAB.
Select the desired radio station.
Insert a USB storage device into the USB port or insert a MicroSD card into the
MICRO SD slot.
Start the recording on the USB storage device or the MicroSD card by pressing
and holding the REC button until REC appears on the display.
To end the recording, press the DEL button. REC no longer appears on the dis-
play.
17. Bluetooth mode
You can use Bluetooth to play tracks from external devices such as MP3 players or
mobile phones with Bluetooth on this boombox.
17.3.1. Connecting Bluetooth devices for the first time
Set the operating mode switch to MUSIC.
Enable the Bluetooth function on your external device as well.
PAIR flashes on the display. The boombox is in pairing mode.
Perform pairing on the external device. Refer to the user manual for your exter-
nal device for more information. The name of the audio system is "MD 44538".
PAIR is continuously shown on the display. You have now set up the connection
and can use the external device on the boombox.
