About this document
These instructions contain important information on the safe and
appropriate assembly and operation of the EBS-PT ejector and
how to remedy simple malfunctions yourself.

Intended use
The EBS-PT is used to convert the energy from the compressed air
into a vacuum.

Improper use
The EBS-PT may not be used to exhaust liquids, gases, or

Personnel qualifications
Assembly, disassembly, commissioning, and operation require
basic pneumatic knowledge, as well as knowledge of the
appropriate technical terms. Assembly, disassembly,
commissioning, and operation may therefore only be carried out by
qualified pneumatic personnel or an instructed person under the
direction and supervision of qualified personnel.
Qualified personnel are those who can recognize possible hazards
and institute the appropriate safety measures due to their
professional training, knowledge, and experience as well as their
understanding of the relevant conditions pertaining to the work to
be done. Qualified personnel must observe the rules relevant to the
subject area.
Safety instructions in this document
In this document, there are safety instructions preceding the steps
whenever there is a danger of personal injury or damage to the
equipment. The measures described to avoid these hazards must
be observed.

Before assembly

Make sure that the relevant system part is not under pressure
before you assemble the EBS-PT.
During assembly

Make sure that all the connections on the EBS-PT are properly
connected and all the plastic tubing is firmly fitted.
During operation
Only use compressed air in accordance with ISO 8573-1:2010
