Connecting the EBS-PT with thread connection
1. Secure the thread connection (1) of the EBS-PT.
2. Assemble the fitting (2).
3. Firmly insert the plastic tubing in the push-in fitting of the
fittings.

Unsuitable plug accessories
Plug connections with unsuitable accessories may loosen when
under pressure. This could lead to injuries and damage.
O
Only use plastic plug accessories.
O
Make sure that the plastic tubing or plug accessories are
firmly inserted in the push-in fitting.
O
Firmly insert the plastic tubing (1) in the push-in fittings (2).
Using an exhaust line
The exhaust can be blown off to the outside using an exhaust line.
The fitting cannot be directly mounted on the EBS-PT with
nozzle Ø 1.5 / 2.5. Use the EBS adapter (see
"Accessories") here.

1. Remove the EBS silencer (1).
2. Only for nozzle Ø 1.5/2.5:
Assemble the EBS adapter (2).
3. Assemble the fitting (3).
4. Firmly insert the exhaust line (4) in the push-in fitting on the
fitting.

Commissioning
1. Make sure before commissioning that all the connections on
the EBS-PT are properly connected and all the plastic tubing is
firmly fitted.
2. Apply the compressed air to connection 1.
3. Check whether the necessary vacuum has been attained (e.g.
with a pressure gauge).

Operation
Strong exhaust stream
The EBS-PT generates a strong exhaust stream at the silencer
or exhaust line outlet that can damage your eyes.
O
Do not look directly into the exhaust stream or wear safety
goggles.
High sound level
High sound levels will occur in the EBS-PT if connection 3
(exhaust) is open during operation. This high sound level can
lead to a loss of hearing over the long run.
O
Only operate the EBS-PT with a silencer or connected
exhaust line.

Maintenance
The EBS-PT is maintenance-free.
Please contact the service department at AVENTICS if you
have any technical problems.

10 Cleaning and servicing
Solvents and aggressive cleaning agents
Solvents and aggressive cleaning agents could damage the
EBS-PT.

Only use water for cleaning and, if necessary, a mild
detergent.
How to clean the EBS-PT:
1. Make sure that all relevant system parts are not under voltage
or pressure.
2. Only clean the EBS-PT using a slightly damp cloth. Only use
water to do this and, if necessary, a mild detergent.
11 Disassembly
1. Make sure that all relevant system parts are not under voltage

12 Disposal
