About This Product
Pressure regulators serve to reduce the applied system pressure to a maximum,
regulated working pressure.

Assembly, Commissioning, Operation
Danger of injury if assembled under pressure!
Assembling when under pressure can lead to injuries and damage to the product
or system components.
O Make sure that the relevant system part is not under pressure before you
assemble the product.
O Protect the system against being switched on.
System is operating under pressure.
Incorrect assembly could damage the pressure regulator or the system and
cause serious injury.
O Before start-up, check that all connections to the pressure regulator have
been assembled correctly.
1
Assembling the pressure regulator and connecting
pneumatically
Danger of contaminating the pressure regulator
Dirt particle deposits can compromise the regulation function or damage the
pressure regulator.
O Blow out all compressed air lines before assembly.
O Use an upstream particle filter of at least 50 μm.
O Install the pressure regulator such that the air flows in the direction of
the arrows on the housing (IN to OUT). This is the only way to ensure
proper regulator function.
1. Make sure that the system is not under voltage or pressure.
2. Connect the pressure regulator to the pressure system.
During installation, check the flow direction at the pressure regulator (IN =
working pressure connection, OUT = regulated pressure connection).

Setting the pressure
W
Turning the knurled screw (3) clockwise increases the output pressure.
W
Turning the knurled screw (3) counterclockwise decreases the output pressure.
