To enable the air conditioner to work tempo-
rarily until the service personnel arrive, you
can drain the water out by following these
simple instructions (fig. 33a):
Before proceeding with any maintenance
and cleaning, always make sure the system
has been switched off, using the remote
control, and the power supply plug has
been disconnected from the system socket
(or the upstream master isolating switch
is positioned at "0" OFF).

Remove the cap (6a) after having placed a good-sized container underneath it
(at least 5-liter capacity) to collect the water.

After having cleared the fault, the service personnel will close the evacuation
pipe.
4.3 - DIAGNOSIS, ALARMS AND INCONVENIENCES
4.3.1 - Diagnosis of the inconveniences
It is important for the User to distinguish between functional problems and anomalies
in relation to the behaviour of the appliance as foreseen for its normal operation. Fur-
thermore, the most common problems may easily be solved through simple operations
on behalf of the User (See paragraph 4.3.5 - Anomalies and solutions).
For all the other reports (see paragraph: 4.3.3 - 4.3.4), it is necessary
to always contact the technical assistance service"
Any attempt to repair the appliance by unauthorised personnel will
immediately invalidate any form of guarantee.
