Introduction
This interphone consists of an interior response unit and an exterior street plate with which communications can
be established with the visitor who has rung.
Two wires are needed for all functions, including ringing, interphone, keeper or electric lock command, and gate
mechanism command.
For proper use, please read this notice thoroughly and keep the Instruction Manual.

N.B. :
If you try your product before installation, do not do so with the street plate and the response unit in the
same room. Otherwise, the interphone will emit a piercing tone (the Larsen effect).
a. Installing of the roadside panel
1. Replacing the name plate (fig.2)
- Release the button block(s) and loudspeaker (fig.2a)
- The name plate is now accessible
- If only the name is to be changed, reassemble the two blocks
- Replace the two button block(s) and the loudspeaker (fig. 2d).
2. Mounting the panel (flush-mounting)
- Use a small screwdriver to open the screw cover flaps (fig. 3a).
- Seal the flush-mounting box in the wall, with the frame pressing against the surface of the wall (fig. 3c).
- Carefully connect the wires to the terminals (no tools needed) as shown on (fig. 5 for WEPA241 or fig.6 for WEPA242)
- Use a spanner to attach the roadside panel with the two hex head screws supplied.
- Close the flaps to hide the screws.
Caution:
Put a silicon gasket on the upper half between the external panel and the wall (fig.3c*).
3. Mounting the panel (surface mounting)
- Use a small screwdriver to open the screw cover flaps (fig. 3a).
- Attach the surface-mounting frame to the wall, with the frame pressing against the surface of the wall (fig. 3b).
- Carefully connect the wires to the terminals (no tools needed) as shown on(fig. 5 for WEPA241 or fig.6 for WEPA242)
- Use a spanner to attach the roadside panel with the two hex head screws supplied.
- Close the flaps to hide the screws.
Caution:
Put a silicon gasket on the upper half between the external panel and the wall (fig. 3b*).
b. Mounting the handset (
- Release the mounting slots (fig. 4a).
- Fix it to the wall using 2 screws (fig. 4b).
- Connect the various wires, as shown on the wiring diagram (fig. 5 for WEPA241 or fig.6 for WEPA242)
- Replace the handset on its wall bracket.
- Adjusting the ring volume: Slide the two-position switch on the side of the handset to select high or low ring
volume.
