OPERATION
IMPORTANT! Being out of level across this width of conveyor
can cause package drift on long conveyor lines.
• Conveyor Start-Up
Before conveyor is turned on, check for foreign objects that may have been
left inside conveyor during installation . These objects could cause serious
damage during start-up .
After conveyor has been turned on and is operating, check all moving parts
to make sure they are working freely .
• Start/Stop
Press green Push Button to start, press red Push Button to stop .
• Reverse with Push Button Station
While the conveyor system is stopped, push and hold the start button for ~5 seconds, until the conveyor system starts . It will start in the reverse direction .
• General Hytrol Logic Controller (HLC) Functionality
The Hytrol Logic Controller (HLC) is a smart power supply . It contains a 40A E24 power supply, along with a blackbox that controls start/stop, speed, and direction
signal to the conveyor sections . Start/stop and reverse direction is controlled from the push button stations . Speed control is found on the potentiometer on the front of
the HLC . There must be an end terminator on each end of the HLC's control zone, if there is not a terminator or the loop is broken, the HLC will flash green . (Figure 7A)
• Reverse Using HLC
There is no way to change direction from the HLC . (Figure 7A)
• Reverse Using Card Dipswitch #1
Top left dipswitch (Switch 1-1) of the three gang switch row will change direction of an individual section . This is necessary when conveyors have been reconfigured or
one section of rollers are not spinning the proper direction . (Figure 7B)
