• Troubleshooting Model E24MC
The following charts list possible problems that may occur in the operation of an E24MC conveyor .
TROUBLESHOOTING DRIVES
TROUBLE
No zones on the conveyor
1) No AC power to the power supply unit .
will run .
2) Main power disconnect on the power supply unit is "off ."
3) Main fuses blown .
4) No lights on Motor/Control Board .
Individual zone will not run .
1) Motor/control board power pins not connected to wiring harness .
2) Motor power connector not connected to control board . (E24 motor
only .)
3) Blown fuse indicator "ON" .
4) Blown fuse indicator "ON" . (E24™)
5) Defective control board .
6) Defective motor .
Individual
zone(s)
running
1) Conveyor section runs in wrong direction .
trouble .
2) One or more control zones "tied to HLC" runs in wrong direction .
3) Only the upstream or downstream of individual push-button station
starts or stops .
4) HLC blinking green .
5) Speed in incorrect .
6) Control zone flips direction on its own after "Stop."
Zone will not restart after
1) O-ring band(s) stretched or worn .
accumulation .
*Sniffer Method: Using a male and female terminator, and
ensuring there is an HLC in between the terminators, shorten the
control zone . If the shortnened control zone works as expected,
the issue is outside of this zone . Widen/shorten control zones as
needed to pinpoint area of issue .
Suggested Action
Check Noise (Revisar el Ruido)
Check Temperature (Revisar la Temperatura)
Check Mounting Bolts (Revisar los Tornillos de Montaje)
Check for Wear (Revisar el Desgaste)
Check Noise (Revisar el Ruido)
General Check: All loose bolts, etc ., tightened (Revision General: Tornillos sueltos, etc .)

(Sugerencia)
1) Check AC power .
2) Set disconnect to "on ."
3) Replace fuses .
4) Check output power of power supply .
1) Connect wiring harness and pin connector to power pins on
Control Board .
2) Connect motor power connector to motor control board .
3) Replace fuse .
4) Replace fuse .
5) Replace control board .
6)Replace motor .
1) Change forward/reverse dip switch (Switch 1) .
2) Turn off all HLCs, then power them back up to reset base direction.
3) a) Reconnect push-button wiring or set to correct direction .
expected. Do the same in the opposite direction. Sniffer Method*
can also be used . Once the suspected station is found, bypass it by
removing the M12 wiring from the station and connect them in line
with each other .
4) Run circuit is open . Look for disconnected wiring at push-button
stations and ensure that terminators are on each end .
5) Each HLC has a variable speed potentiometer . Ensure all are set
the same .
6) Push-button station is stuck "On." Use the Sniffer Method* to find
the errored push-button station .
1) Replace o-ring(s) .
