@ VERIFICATION OF ACCURACY
Periodically, the scale should be tested to verify the accuracy of its weight mea-
surement capabilites. This may be accomplished by using a 10 ky calibration weight
class F or better. These weights are available from Medela. Use the following
instructions for verifying the scale' accuracy.
1 Slide the g/lboz switch to g.
Press the ON/ZERO button and wait until a 0 appears in the digital display.
Gently place a 10 ky weight on the basket ofthe scale.
If the scale does not read between 9995g - 10005g, follow the instructions for
Re-Calibration.
MRE-CALIBRATION
Occasionally, the scale will need to be re-calibrated. This need may arise from the
scale being used in varying altitude environments or after extended use of the scale.
Follow these instructions for re-calibration ifthe scale does not accurately weigh a 10 kg
weight.
1. Make sure switch is set to grams.
2 . With the scale turned OFF, pres and hold the BEFORE button and press the
ON/ZERO button at the same time.
