1. Place the rechargeable battery (5) into
the device.
2. To release, press the start lock (8) on
the right or left side into the device.
3. Press the on/off switch (7) to start the
device.
4. To switch off, release the on/off button
(7). The start lock (8) automatically se-
cures the device from being turned on
again unintentionally.
Charging the battery
1. If necessary, remove the rechargeable
battery (5) from the device.
2. Slide the battery (5) into the charging
slot of the charger (15).
3. Plug the charger ( 15 ) into a socket.
4. Once charging is complete, disconnect
the charger (15) from the mains sup-
ply.
5. Pull the rechargeable battery (5) out of
the charger (15).

Checking the battery
charge level
The battery charge indicator (4) signalises
the state of charge of the battery (5) by
illuminating the corresponding LED lights
when the device is in operation.
Press the start lock (8) and press and hold
the on/off switch (7).
red-yellow-green => Battery fully charged
red and yellow
=> Battery half charged

Working instructions
Do not use any accessories that are
not recommended by PARKSIDE. This
can result in electric shock or fire.
Securing the workpiece
Fasten and secure the workpiece by means
of jigs, a vice or with another method on
a stable surface. If you hold the workpiece
only with your hand, foot or against your
own body, it will stay instable and this can
lead to a loss of control..
Touching up
For touch-up work, choose the sandpaper
(12). The sandpaper is suitable for wor-
king on wood and metal surfaces.
If required, polish the workpiece being ma-
chined after the touch-up.
