connection status of the sensor unit and mobile app.

Sensor unit is turned on, but not con-
nected to the mobile app.
Standby mode
Sensor unit is turned on, connected to
the mobile app and in standby mode.
Connection failed
Sensor unit is turned on, but the con-
nection to the mobile app has failed.
Sequence only for a short time follow-
ing a failed connection attempt.

Intended use

Dräger X-pid 9000/9500 is a portable gas measurement device for continuous
measurement of the total concentration of multiple volatile organic compounds
in Seeker measuring mode and discontinuous measurement of the
concentration of individual hazardous substances in Analysis measuring mode
in ambient workplace air and in explosion-hazard areas.
The intended use of the control unit must also be observed.
3.3

Approvals

The approvals are given on the name plate. A copy of the name plate and the
declaration of conformity are provided in the supplementary documentation
(order no. 9033879) supplied with the Dräger X-pid 9000/9500.
The name plate on the sensor unit must not be concealed.
The approvals only apply to the sensor unit; the approvals for the control unit
must be observed separately.

mobile app has been pressed to iden-
tify the connected sensor unit.
Charging faulty
Sensor unit is turned off and is show-
ing a charging error. The battery can-
not be charged, e.g. due to the
ambient temperature during charging
or a fault, see "Chapter 5.5 Charging
the sensor unit" for further informa-
tion.
