c)
Insert the pH probe connection output (11) into the pH probe connection input
(17). Lock the connection by turning the probe connection output clockwise.
The disassembly is done in reverse order to its assembly.
d) Connect the temperature probe connection output (12) to the temperature
probe connection input (18).
e) In order to facilitate working with the device, the conductivity and pH probes
can be installed in dedicated suction cups and attached to the operating
surface.
CHANGING THE TEMPERATURE UNIT
To adjust the temperature unit (°C/°F), select the unit change button (9). The LCD
will display the current temperature unit configuration.
PERFORMING MEASUREMENTS
a) Remove the probe covers.
b) Before and after each measurement, clean the probes with distilled water. Dip
it in the solution and then dry with a cotton cloth.
c)
Turn on the device with the "ON/OFF" switch (2). Pressing the switch again will
turn off the device.
d) Immerse the tips of the probes in the test solution.
e) Wait until the measurement is stabilized on the LCD displays (3, 4, 5), and then
read the correct values.
NOTE: The conductivity values are displayed on the LCD in a specific order
EC/CF/TDS. Switching between the measurement results may be done by
pressing the [MODE] key.
f)
After taking the measurements, turn off the device using the power switch.
g) Clean the probe.
h) Protect the probe with a cover.
DEVICE CALIBRATION
The calibration process should be performed after the following occur:
a) The first use of the device.
b) Device was inactive for a long time.
c)
Measurement under specific conditions (strong solution).
d) Replacing the probe with a new one
PH CALIBRATION PROCEDURE
a) Prepare calibration solutions with pH: 6.86; 4.0; 9.18 and distilled water.
b) Before and after each measurement, clean the probe with distilled water.
Immerse the probe tip in distilled water, remove it and dry with a cotton cloth.
c)
Turn on the device with the power switch (2).
d) Immerse the probe tip in a pH 6.86 solution at 25°C.
e) Wait until the measurement stabilizes on the LCD display.
