Before operating the mower, please attach the grass catcher, details on
installing the grass catcher above. When the mower is running, a blast of air
from the rotating blade pushes the grass indicator cover Fig. H1 out. When
the grass catcher is full, the indicator flap will rest flat fig. H2
Disconnect the grass collector
Note: Drain the tank when it is full to avoid blocking the outlet opening and
overloading the motor unnecessarily.
Detach the grass collector as follows:
1.
Raise the rear grass outlet guard on top of the grass hopper,
2.
Lift the grass collector upwards to disengage it from the mower body.
3.
Lower the rear grass outlet guard downwards.
Note: When mowing, place the extension cord safely on the sidewalk,
path, or areas that have already been mown.
WARNING! The blade continues to rotate for a few seconds after
the engine is switched off, so do not touch the underside of the
mower until the blade stops!
Warning! Do not let the engine run overload while mowing. When the
engine is overloaded, the engine speed will drop and you will hear the
engine sound changing, when this occurs, stop mowing, release the switch
lever and raise the cutting height. The failure may damage the device.
Choose a cutting height that suits the desired height of grass. If necessary,
mow in several passes so that the maximum cutting height of the grass in
one pass is no more than 4 cm.
When mowing, make sure to avoid places that could obstruct the free
movement of the extension cord.
Edge
Always unplug the mower before checking the blade in any way. After the
engine has stopped, remember that the blade will continue to run for a few
seconds before it stops. Never try to stop the blade. Check at regular
intervals that the blade is fitted correctly, that it is in good condition and that
it is well sharpened. Replace them if necessary.
If the rotating blade hits any object, stop the mower and wait for the blade to
stop completely. Then check the condition of the blade and blade holder.
Replace the blade immediately if it is damaged.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Warning! Stop the mower and remove the plug from the power supply
before removing the grass collector.
Always disconnect the mains plug before carrying out any
maintenance or cleaning work!
Note: To ensure long and reliable service, regularly perform the following
maintenance:
• Check for obvious defects such as a loose, knocked out or damaged
blade, loose fasteners, and worn or damaged mower components.
• Check that covers and guards are undamaged and properly attached to
the mower.
• Carry out the necessary maintenance / inspection or repairs before
using the mower.
Warning: Be sure to contact the Maintenance Service when replacing the
blade.
Warning: Never perform any assembly or adjustment operations with
power connected to the mower. Always make sure the power button is in
the off position and that the power plug is unplugged from the extension
cord.
Cleaning:
1. Do not spray the device with water. Water ingress can destroy
components such as the switch / plug and the electric motor.
2. Clean the device with a cloth, hand brush, etc.
Consultation with the Website is required:
a) If the mower hits an object.
b) If the engine suddenly stops
c) If the blade is bent (don't align!)
d) If the motor shaft is bent (do not align!)
It is recommended to replace the mower blade at the end of the mowing
season. Always replace the cutter blade at an authorized service center
(requires blade balance measurement).
causes the mower to vibrate violently and there is a risk of an
accident!
Check grass hopper and any damaged parts
Check the grass collector for signs of wear at more frequent intervals.
Replace any worn or damaged parts.
Use only original spare parts for maintenance.
The element exposed to the most severe wear is the blade. Check the
condition of the blade and its holder at regular intervals. When the blade is
worn, it must be replaced. If the mower vibrates excessively, it is a sign of
improper blade balance or impact deformation. In this case, replace the
blade.
Storing the mower:
An unbalanced blade
• Disconnect the power cord.
• Allow the engine to cool down for approximately 30 minutes.
• Check, repair, or replace any power cord that shows signs of wear or
damage.
• Tighten or replace worn, loose, or damaged parts and clean them
thoroughly.
• Thoroughly clean the outside of the device with a soft brush and a cloth.
Do not use water, solvents, or pastes. Remove all grass and debris,
especially from the vents.
• Turn the device on its side and clean the blade and its guard. If blades of
grass are on or around the blade, remove them with a wooden or plastic
tool to protect the blade.
• To protect the mower from rust, wipe all exposed metal parts with an oil-
soaked cloth or spray a light grease spray.
• Keep the mower and extension cord in a closed, dry place out of the
reach of children to prevent unauthorized use or damage.
• Cover loosely with a tarpaulin for extra protection.
• In the event of transportation, be sure to properly attach the device to the
vehicle.
• To reduce the storage space of the mower, the top handle can be folded
as shown in fig. B.
Note: Do not press on the electric wire when folding the handle. Make
sure it does not get stuck or tangled when folding or unfolding the top
handle.
