Bellow a temperature of water of 15°c, the chemical conditions of the water pull a premature wear of the
chlorinator cell. It is compulsory to switch off its salt chlorinator (« wintering mode »).
Stop the device by putting the production to 00 (0 %). It will set in stand-by mode after few seconds.
If the cell is not fed by the controller box, it will not damage the chlorinator cell if you let it on the
tubing, it will not damage it. Make, then a classical chemical treatment without stabilizer.
In any case water can be frozen in the cell.
At the start up, the next year, switch on again the device by pressing on any touch. If the free
chlorination level is lower than 1 particle by million, make shock chlorination and follow the start up
advises (checking of the water parameters, the rate of salt, of the cell, of the regulation of the chlorine
production percentage).
All damages linked to no respect of instructions entail the annulation of the guarantee.

CLEANING OF THE CELL

Self-cleaning avoid the limestone deposits in the cell. However, if the cell is nevertheless scaled, proceed to a
manual cleaning:
Turn off filtration, remove the cell and check scale deposit presence on the electrodes.
To remove the scale deposits on the cell, use a cleaner « special cell » or contact your local retailer :

Rinse the cell and then reassemble it
If necessary, recalibrate your inversion frequency in the reduction (see §5.3).
The lifespan of the cell is very closely linked to the respect for the instructions indicated in this user manual (see
§5.1). We recommended using exclusively cells of origin. The use of "compatible" cells can entail a reduction in the
production and reduce the life cycle of the device. A deterioration linked to the use of a compatible cell cancels the
contractual warranty by that fact.
