TROUBLESHOOTING
POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
Before starting, make sure the hand guard is in its
most rearward position (chain brake disengaged).
For correct hand guard position, see "SWITCHING
ON/OFF" in this manual.
Recharge. See "CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK"
in this manual.
See "SWITCHING ON/OFF" in this manual.
Clean debris from the battery port and terminals
with a clean dry cloth or non-conductive brush.
Remove battery pack, then remove side cover and
clean out debris.
Allow battery to warm above the minimum operating
temperature of 32°F (0°C).
Sharpen or replace the chain.
Check the oil level.Refer to "OIL FILLING".
Adjust the chain tensioning gear to the appropriate
tension.
Follow guidelines in "CUTTING" in this manual.
Remove battery pack, then remove side cover and
clean out debris.
Recharge. Refer to "CHARGING THE BATTERY
PACK".
Clean debris from external chain brake mechanism.
Contact an approved service location immediately.
Adjust the tensioning gear again.
Sharpen or replace the chain.
Assemble the chain again as the figure on the
cover side.
Check the oil level. Refer to "OIL FILLING".
