3.3.
Installation of the unit
Fix the machine on a suitable surface using all mounting holes.
3.4.
Working with the machine
a) Connect the power cord to the power supply. Make sure that the power supply of the device
corresponds to the data given on the rating plate
b) Turning the unit on
c)
Insert the cable/cord into the appropriate feeder - the cable/cord should have all ends, plugs, etc.
cut off. The diameter of the cable/cord should be adapted to the diameter of the feeder. If the
cable/cord is inserted into the wrong feeder (e.g. the cable is inserted into a feeder that is too tight)
there is a risk of blocking the device. Do not insert more than one cable/cord into the feeder holes
at a time.
d) The stripped cable/cord will be ejected from the other side of the device. Provide an area free of all
objects in the area around the unit so that the material will fall freely after exiting to avoid
entanglement, jamming, and/or damage to the device itself.
e) If the notches on the cables/wires are inadequate (too deep or too shallow), make adjustments with
knobs 1, 2, and 3. Tightening will increase the cutting force, and loosening will decrease it.
f)
If the cable/cord gets jammed on the cutting rollers, check that the adjustment knobs are not too
tight. Such blockage can also be caused by too much oil on the cable/wires - clean the cable/wires
and the cutting rollers themselves - when cleaning the cutting rollers, the power supply should be
switched on.
g) The rotational speed of the device's motor is adjustable, so you can adjust the motor speed to suit
the cable you are working on (it is recommended that the device's rotational speed be higher when
cutting insulation from small-diameter cables and lower when cutting insulation from large-
diameter cables).
h) Select the appropriate hole in the feeder to the diameter of the cable:
