MAKING ICED COFFEE
1.
Open the lid of the machine and fill the water reservoir with water for at
least 6 cups using the glass coffee pot.
2.
Insert a paper filter (size 4) into the filter holder. Or use the included
reusable filter.
3.
Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. For iced coffee, it
is best to use 10 scoops (60 grams) of ground coffee. Despite filling the
water reservoir for 6 cups, you will have around 10 cups of coffee due to
the ice in the pot. Close the lid.
4.
Fill the pot with 500-550 g of ice cubes. Place the insulating mat on the hot
plate. Place the pot on the mat under the drip stop.
5.
Plug the power cord into the outlet and press the on/off button [ON/OFF].
6.
Press the button for the iced coffee function [Ice Coffee]. The indicator
lights above the button for iced coffee and above the on-off button switch
on and the coffee will start to flow.
7.
The cup quantity defaults to 6 cups. The coffee strength is predetermined as well. For the best
results, the brewing process has to be quick.
8.
When your coffee is ready, you will hear a signal and the red indicator light on the display
disappears.
POINTERS FOR GREAT COFFEE
·
A clean coffee maker is essential to make great tasting coffee. Clean the appliance regularly according
to the guidelines. Always use fresh, cold water in the coffee maker.
·
Store coffee in a dry and cool place.
·
Do not reuse any coffee, as this will greatly affect the taste of your coffee. We also do not recommend
reheating coffee.
·
The device will keep the coffee warm for up to 40 minutes (not for iced coffee or coffee "on the go").
To maintain an optimal coffee taste, it is best to serve the coffee right after brewing.
