MAKING COFFEE
1.
Open the lid of the appliance, and use the glass jug to add the required amount
of water to the water reservoir. Do not exceed the maximum mark.
2.
Insert a paper filter (size 4) into the filter holder. Or use the included reusable
filter.
3.
Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. Close the lid.
4.
Insert the glass carafe horizontally into the coffee maker. Put it on the keep-
warm plate, under the drip stop.
5.
Plug the power cord into the outlet and press the on/off button [ON/OFF].
6.
Press the number of cups button [Cups] until the desired number of cups
appears on the display. You can select 4, 6, 8, or 10 cups. If you do not press this
button, the default setting is 10 cups.
7.
Press the coffee strength button [Strong] to set the strength:
·
No bar = mild, this is the standard setting
·
= medium
·
= strong
When a custom coffee strength is selected, the water will flow more slowly. The process of
brewing coffee will take longer as a result.
8.
Press the [ON/OFF] button. The indicator lamp lights up in red and coffee will start to flow.
9.
When your coffee is ready, you will hear a signal and the red indicator light on the display
disappears.
10. After keeping the coffee hot for 40 minutes, the machine goes into standby mode and the on-off
button on the display begins to flash. The machine turns off completely after 30 minutes of standby
mode.
·
The amount of ground coffee you should add depends on the type of coffee you use and your personal
preference. Try 1 scoop (+/- 6 grams) of ground coffee per cup. If this is too strong, use a little less next
time. Use a little more if you like your coffee stronger.
·
You can remove the carafe from the coffee maker at any chosen time for a maximum of 30 seconds to
pour coffee. The appliance will stop dripping automatically.
·
The final amount of coffee will always be a little less than the amount of water you put in, because the
coffee absorbs water.
