Intended Users
Users are any adults and adolescents with restricted or
limited mobility or limited muscle strength. If used without
an assistant, the users must be able to keep their own
balance.
Indication
•
Restricted or limited mobility (e.g. legs and/or hips) or
•
having balance issues to stand up or walk due to
transitional or permanent disabilities.
There are no contraindications known when using the
product as intended. For the maximum user weight, see 8.1

CAUTION!
Risk of Injury
– Mount only to walls that have a sufficient
load-bearing capacity. (Fig. 2)
– Use only suitable fastening materials.
1. Measure the individual seat height of the user. (Fig. 3)
2. Use the adapters to adjust the height of the supporting
legs to the required seat height h (Fig. 4).
The total height G of the supporting legs of the
folding shower seat is 291 mm (+ 23 mm per adapter)
(Fig. 5). Use max. three adapters per side.
3. Measure the depth T of the shower tray. (Fig. 6)
4. Deduct the depth T of the shower tray from overall
height G.
5. Measure the resulting height H on the template and cut
the template horizontally. (Fig. 7)
6. Place the template on the wall so that the cut edge is
flush with the upper edge of the shower tray. (Fig. 8)
NOTICE!
– Make sure that the mounting surface on the
wall is even.
7. Use a scribing tool to mark the five mounting points
indicated by the template. (Fig. 8)
8. Use a drill to make suitably sized holes (8 mm) at the
points marked on the wall. (Fig. 9)
9. Use suitable materials (wall plug, washer and screw) to
fix the folding shower seat to the wall. (Fig. 10)
Make sure that the pivot mechanism at the back
sits correctly into the groove on the mounting plate.

10. Place the plugs supplied over the holes. (Fig. 11)
11. Use a spirit level to level out correctly (Fig. 11). Rotate
the leg extension tip counterclockwise (for lengthening)
or clockwise (for shortening) (Fig. 12).

Risk of Overturning
Ensure that both supporting legs are set to the
same height.

Risk of Trapping/Squeezing
– When folding the seat down, ensure that your
feet do not get trapped under the legs.

6 Maintenance
6.1 General Maintenance Information
This product is maintenance-free, provided that the cleaning
and disinfection instructions are adhered to.
6.2 Cleaning and Disinfection
General Safety Information
CAUTION!
Risk of Contamination
– Take precautions for yourself and use
appropriate protective equipment.
NOTICE!
Wrong fluids or methods can harm or damage
the product.
– All cleaning agents and disinfectants used must
be effective, compatible with one another and
must protect the materials they are used to
clean.
– Never use corrosive fluids (alkalines, acid etc.)
or abrasive cleaning agents. We recommend
an ordinary household cleaning agent such as
dishwashing liquid, if not specified otherwise in
the cleaning instructions.
– Never use a solvent (cellulose thinner, acetone
etc.) that changes the structure of the plastic
or dissolves the attached labels.
– Always make sure that the product is completely
dried before taking it into use again.
For cleaning and disinfection in clinical or long-term
care environments, follow your in-house procedures.
Cleaning Intervals
NOTICE!
Regular cleaning and disinfection enhances smooth
operation, increases the service life and prevents
contamination.Clean and disinfect the product:
– regularly while in use,
– before and after any service procedure,
– when it has been in contact with any body
fluids,
– before using it for a new user.
Cleaning Instructions
NOTICE!
Maximum cleaning temperature:
– 60 °C by hand
1. Clean the product by wiping down all generally accessible
surfaces.
2. Dry the parts with a cloth.
Disinfection Instructions
Method: Follow the application notes for the used
disinfectant and wipe-disinfect all accessible surfaces.
Disinfectant: Ordinary household disinfectant.
Drying: Allow the product to air-dry.
