9.3.2 To fill and drain the domestic hot water tank
(1) To fill the domestic hot water tank
● Open every hot water tap in turn to purge air from the
system pipe work.
● Open the cold water supply valve.
● Close all water taps after all air is purged.
● Check for water leaks.
● Manually operate the field-installed pressure relief valve
to ensure a free water flow through the drain pipe.
(2) To drain the domestic hot water tank
The water in the tank can be very hot.
Turn OFF the unit via the master controller.
Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Close the cold water supply.
1) Remove the upper front panel and the lower front panel.
2) Hanging the master controller.
3) Remove the stop from the tank.
4) Use a drain hose and a pump to drain the tank via the
drainage outlet.
5) Open all the hot water tapping points to allow air to enter
the system.

During the use of the water tank, there may be dirty sediments
accumulated at the bottom of the water tank. In order to avoid
the presence of dirty sediment affecting the heat exchange
efficiency, resulting in increased energy consumption, it is
necessary to carry out regular maintenance of the water tank.
Remove the upper front panel, referring to 7.3.1, then
remove the lower front panel as follows.
