USE
This knee is intended exclusively for lower limb prosthesis.
It is specifically recommended for any patient (from low activity level to active) up to 125 kg (carried load included).
FEATURES
In extension this joint system with linkages puts the instantaneous center of rotation backward the load line. This ensures a good stability in
stance phase. Every flexion and extension speed is adjustable independently (See page 7: Fig. 3).
The extension assist strength is adjustable through an extension spring cylinder (See page 7 : Fig.3) Note: a « short extension spring
cylinder » kit is available (ref. 1P11067) and allows to shorten the total height of the knee by 22 mm. This kit includes a short cylinder, an
adapted spring and assembling instructions.
This knee weights about 1050gr for the 1P120 and 1P121 models; and about 1080gr for the 1P120-KD and 1P121-KD models.
The knee is designed to allow flexion up to 145°. However flexion can be limited by the socket dimensions or the cosmetic cover.
ASSEMBLING

Connections with the other prosthetic components
This knee is available in four different models :

1P120 (grey) and 1P121 (orange): upper connection by a
male pyramid, convenient for TF amputation or hip disarticula-
tion. Lower connection for Ø34 tubular components 1G01-P6
and 1D52-P6 (See Fig.1b for thightening)

1P120-KD (grey) and 1P121-KD (orange): upper connection
by a M36x1,5 screw, convenient for long stump or knee disar-
ticulation. Lower connection for Ø34 tubular components
1G01-P6 and 1D52-P6 (See Fig.1b for thightening)
1) Tighten screw V1 up to 5Nm
2) Tighten screw V2 up to 5Nm
3) Retighten screw V1 up to 5Nm
FINISHING: One-part cosmetic cover 1G16 (complete or partial)
Inform your patient: The warranty is not applicable to damages due to a bad assembly, an inadequate alignment, a very dusty
environment without adapted protection, or any inappropriate use.
Using a cosmetic cover is highly recommended to prevent your fingers or clothing from being jammed in the joint. Avoid exposing the
knee to situations that may cause the corrosion of the metallic parts (fresh water, sea water, acid, ...). In case of fall, shock or
abnormal behaviour of the joint, contact your CPO for knee control.
