Glider/Segelflugzeug LS8-a/18
Die LS 8 ist mittlerweile mit über 500 produzierten Einheiten
das meistproduzierte einsitzige Segelflugzeug der letzten 10
Jahre und ist bis heute der Garant für Spitzenplatzierungen bei
Wettbewerben. Zahlreiche Medaillenplätze bei nationalen und
internationalen Meisterschaften in der Standardklasse sowie in
der 18m-Klasse belegen seitdem die Einzigartigkeit des
Konzepts und die überlegenen Flugleistungen der LS 8. Von
allen Piloten besonders gelobt werden die harmonischen
Flugeigenschaften und die hervorragende Abstimmung der
Steuerung. Nach der Übernahme des ursprünglichen
Herstellers „Rolladen-Schneider" durch „DG-Flugzeugbau"
wird die Produktion der LS 8 nun auch durch Modifikationen
bereichert.

The LS8, with a total build of over 500 units so far, is the
most produced glider of the last 10 years and is the best
guarantee of leading positions in competitions to date.
Numerous placings in national and international champi-
onships in both the standard and the racing classes vouch for
the singularity of the concept and the superiority of the per-
formance of the LS8. The features particularly praised by all
the pilots are its harmonious flying characteristics and the
outstanding handling of its controls. Since the original manu-
facturers "Rolladen-Schneider" have been taken over by "DG-
Flugzeugbau" the production range of the LS8 is being
enlarged by some modifications.
