The MDSm provides connections for a black-and-white or color printer. For specific information on
using the printer, including warnings and cautions, see the manufacturer's instructions.

Set up system 1
1 Press the Function key (f) and then V on the system.
2 Press PLAY on the DVD recorder. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for
playing back images.

1 Lock the wheels and remove back panel.
If installing an older black-and-white or color printer, you may need to move
padded screws to back holes.
2 Ensure that the pre-routed DC power cord ( A ) is connected to the mini-dock
and that the pre-installed AC power cord ( I ) is connected to the power strip.

• Pre-routed composite video cable ( C )
4 Connect system power cord ( K ) to a hospital-grade electrical outlet.
5 Install the back panel (vents at the top) by sliding panel up and in.
Press the SETUP key on the ultrasound system.
2 Select Connectivity .
3 In the Printer list, select the desired printer.
Only the printers listed are recommended for use with the system.
