Operating the safety rail:
(stepladders – art. no. 8050-xxx, 8030-xxx)
1. Pull safety rail upwards The safety rail locks automatically.
2. Inserting safety rail: First loosen the locking mechanism [I-1]
on one side and slide the safety rail in slightly, then loosen
the locking mechanism [I-1] on the other side and slide the
safety rail in completely.
7. Transport and storage
NOTE – Caution, damage!
Incorrect handling of the ladder when transporting and storage
may lead to damage to the ladder.
• In order to avoid any damage, the ladder (and any accessories)
should be securely fastened (e.g., on roof carriers or in the car).
• The ladder should be stored folded in a dry environment
vertically or lying flat.
• Store the ladder in such a way that it is protected from
children at play and no person can be disabled by it.
• If the ladder is permanently positioned, make sure it is
secured against unauthorized climbing (e.g. by children).
8. Care, maintenance and
preventive maintenance
• The ladder must be checked regularly for damages. The function
of moving parts must be ensured.
• Repairs and maintenance shall be carried out by a competent
person and be in accordance with the producer's instructions.
NOTE: A competent person is someone who has the skills to
carry out repairs or maintenance, e.g. by a training by the
manufacturer.
• For repair and replacement of parts, e.g. feet, if necessary
contact the producer or distributor.
9. Packaging and disposal
WARNING – Risk of suffocation!
Packaging material is not a children's toy; there is a risk
of suffocation.
The ladder must be disposed of in accordance with current
regulations.
