Metal cutting
1. Clamp the workpiece firmly and cut close to the
clamping point to eliminate any vibration.
2. Use a slow speed at the beginning, gradually
increasing speed as you cut.
3. In thin gauge sheet metals, it is best to clamp
wood to the underside of the sheet. This will ensure
a clean cut without excess vibration or tearing of
metal.
4. Avoid forcing cutting blade as this reduces blade life
and causes costly blade breakage.
Plunge cutting
1. Measure the surface area to be cut and mark the
line clearly.
2. Rest the bottom edge of the shoe on the work
surface.
3. Switch motor on and allow the blade to reach full
speed.
4. Tilt the saw until the tip of the blade starts cutting the
workpiece.
5. Allow the blade to penetrate the material before
continuing with plunge cut.
English
Always hold saw firmly while cutting. Make sure that
the shoe is held firmly against the material being cut.
This will prevent the saw from jumping or vibrating and
minimize blade breakage.

MAINTENANCE
Do not let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based
materials touch the plastic parts. Chemicals can
cause damage to the plastic, and make the plastic
unserviceable.
Do not use strong solvents or detergents on the plastic
housing or components.
Remove the battery pack from the machine before
maintenance.
9.1
CLEAN THE MACHINE
The machine must be dry. Humidity can cause risks of
electrical shocks.
Clear the unwanted material out of the air vent with
a vacuum cleaner.
Do not spray the air vent or put the air vent in
solvents.
Clean the housing and the plastic components with
a moist and soft cloth.
