Using Your Hot Pot
Attention: During the first use the heating element undergoes a minor chemical
reaction that may result in a slight odor and/or minor smoking. It quickly goes away.
CAUTION: Do not overfill the appliance or operate it when empty.
NOTE: When there is no water in the Hot Pot or if the water runs out during use,
the boil-dry protection automatically switches off the heating element. Should this
happen, turn the power switch off, unplug the unit, and allow it to cool before
continuing to use or storing.
NOTE: When max temperature is reached, indicator light will turn off and heating will
stop. Light will go back on to maintain temperature.
1.
Place the Hot Pot on a sturdy flat and heat resistant dry surface.
2.
Plug the Hot Pot into the nearest Electric Outlet.
3.
Turn on temperature control switch to the desired setting.
CAUTION: Do not overfill the appliance above the 'MAX' line.

Add your ingredients to the Hot Pot and gently stir using only plastic or wood
utensils during cooking, as metal can scratch and damage the stainless steel.
5.
Once cooking is completed, turn the Temperature Control Switch to 'Off', unplug
the appliance from the electrical outlet.
6.
Let stand and cool before cleaning (15 minutes).
Common Usage:
Boiling Water
1.
Remove glass lid, add water lower than the 'MAX' level. Then cover with glass lid.
Insert the plug to an electrical outlet. Turn the temperature control dial to the
desired heat setting, indicator light will go on and hot pot will start heating.

Approximately 15 minutes later, the water will begin to boil, turn the
temperature control dial to 'Off', Hot Pot will stop heating and indicator light will
go off. When no longer in use, always remember to unplug your appliance from
the electrical outlet.
Noodles
1.
Remove glass lid, add water lower than the 'MAX' level. Then cover with glass lid.
Insert the plug to an electrical outlet. Turn the temperature control dial to the
desired temperature 'Boil', indicator light will go on and Hot Pot will start heating.
