(Original instructions)
♦ Put the ingredients, after having first chopped them into
small piece, into the jar with liquid (water or juice).Do
not exceed the MAX level indicator.
♦ Put the lid on the jar; make sure it is properly fixed in
place.
♦ Put the cup in the lid.
♦ Connect the appliance to the mains.
♦ Turn the appliance on, by using the selection knob or
pressing the function button desired with the speed
selector on the "ON" position.
♦ The light comes on.
♦ If you wish to add more ingredients pull out the cup.
♦ Add the ingredients and replace the cup.
♦ To stop the appliance set the speed back to "OFF" or
press again the function button.
♦ To avoid a fierce start up of the blender, it is advisable
to start off from the lowest speed position and, once the
blender has been switched on, progressively increase
the speed to the desired position.
Electronic speed control:
♦ The speed of the appliance can be regulated by using
the speed selector knob (I).
Once you have finished using the appli-
ance:
♦ Stop the appliance, selecting position OFF on the
selector control.
♦ Unplug the appliance from the mains.
♦ Lift the jar from the motor body.
♦ Clean the appliance.
"SMOOTHIES/CREAMS" Function
♦ This function is designed to make smoothies, creams,
purees, gazpacho ...
♦ IMPORTANT: never work with liquids that are boiling or
ingredients whose temperature exceeds 80ºC.
♦ With the selector knob in the ON position, press the
Smoothies/Creams button to operate the function (J).
The Smoothies / Creams button will light up.
♦ By activating this function, the appliance will automati-
cally activate and progressively increase its speed up to
1 minute. Can deactivate the function manually pressing
the button again.
"PULSE" Function
♦ The appliance works in highest speed to achieve optimal
performance.

♦ With the selector knob in the ON position, press the
Pulse button to operate the function (K). The Pulse
button will light up.
♦ This function is only activated when the button is held
down, releasing it will stop the appliance.
"Ice crush" Function
♦ This function gives optimal result for ice-crushing.
♦ Do not add more than 12 ice cubes of 20x20x20 mm.
♦ With the selector knob in the ON position, press the Ice
Crush button to activate the function (L). The Ice Crush
button will light up.
♦ When activating this function, the appliance will automat-
ically activate for 1 second, stop and activate again. This
repeats for 30 seconds or until the function is manually
deactivated by pressing the button again.
Safety thermal protector:
♦ The appliance has a safety device, which protects the
appliance from overheating.
♦ If the appliance turns itself off and does not switch itself
on again, disconnect it from the mains supply, and wait
for approximately 15 minutes before reconnecting. If the
machine does not start again seek authorised technical
assistance.
CLEANING
♦ Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to
cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
♦ Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops
of washing-up liquid and then dry.
♦ Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH
such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the
appliance.
♦ Do not let water or any other liquid get into the air vents
to avoid damage to the inner parts of the appliance.
♦ Never submerge the appliance in water or any other
liquid or place it under running water.
♦ During the cleaning process, take special care with the
blades, as they are very sharp.
♦ If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its
surface may degrade and inexorably affect the duration
of the appliance's useful life and could become unsafe
to use.
♦ The following pieces may be washed in a dishwasher
(using a soft cleaning program):
Jug.
Cup.
Lid.
