Bone fragments or sharp edges can damage vessels
and organs and must therefore be covered or removed
before using VivanoMed Foam.
Wounds with intestinal fistulas must only be treated
with VivanoMed Foam in conjunction with special
precautions.
In the case of movable parts of the body, which
cannot be kept still, continuous (rather than
intermittent) therapy is indicated in order to minimise
irritations.
If the patient has spinal cord injuries with the
development of autonomic hyperreflexia the therapy
must be discontinued.
The decision on how long the patients can be
disconnected from the VivanoTec negative pressure
unit is a clinical assessment that has to be made by
the treating physician.
Warning
The wound must not be too firmly or forcefully filled
with VivanoMed Foam as this can increase the risk of
harm to health.
Special notes
Store in a dry place. Contents sterile unless peel
package is damaged. Do not resterilise. Keep out of
the reach of children.
