during operation are prohibited.
Starting the engine (p. 9)
The power generator has a low oil fuse. If the oil level is
too low, it is not possible to start the unit (when trying to
start, the oil indicator light

Start the engine with the reversing starter by
pulling once with little force and a second time
strongly. If the engine does not start, pull again.

When the engine is running, push the choke back
in. (not applicable for warm start)
Operation
Generators may only be operated up to their rated power
under the rated ambient conditions. The unit must not
be exposed to moisture or dust. Permissible ambient
temperature -5° to +40°, altitude: 1000 m above sea level,
relative humidity: 90% (non-condensing). If these values
are not observed, there may be a loss of performance.
Do not operate the generator in a potentially explosive
environment and never cover it.
Caution: Before use, always check whether the
consumer is suitable for operation with a gene-
rator. Always coordinate the technical data of the
consumer with the data and safety instructions of
the generator.
Do not exceed the maximum load of the generator. Both
in terms of maximum power and continuous power.
Note here the possibly high starting current of the
consumers.
When connecting several consumers, the consumer
with the highest starting current must be connected
and started first. The consumer with the lowest starting
current last.
•
Let the generator run for a few minutes before
connecting electrical devices.
•
Do not connect the load until the generator is
running at full speed.
•
Do not overload the generator by connecting more
electrical devices than the unit can handle.
•
Do not switch on electrical appliances until they
have been connected to the generator.
•
Switch off all connected electrical equipment
before stopping the generator.

Overload protection
The power generator is equipped with overload protec-
tion. This switches off the respective sockets in the event
of an overload.
Attention! Should this occur, switch off the unit and
reduce the electrical power that you draw from the power
generator or remove defective connected devices.
Check the air filter for impurities and remove them if
necessary.
Switch off the unit immediately under the following
conditions and contact our service department:
•
if the engine runs unevenly or not at all smoothly
•
in the event of a decrease in the electrical output
power
•
overheating of the connected load
•
Excessive vibrations of the generator
•
in the event of sparking
•
in the event of smoke or fire
•
in the event of unusual vibrations or noises
•
if the engine appears to be overloaded or misfires.
It is possible that the indicator lamp for the overload
protection lights up briefly when you operate a consumer
with increased starting current. This is not a malfunction.
Transportation and Storage
Before transport, turn the fuel tap to "Off" and
remove the spark plug.
During transport, secure the unit against slipping
and tipping.
During transport, make sure that no fuel or oil can
leak out.
When transporting the machine, use only the
transport devices.
Store the machine in a dry place.
Do not park the machine indoors immediately after
switching it off, but allow it to cool down outdoors.
Do not operate or store the machine in wet or
dampenvironments or on well-conducting surfaces
such as metal coatings or steel structures.
