3.2 Preliminary checks:
Verify if the door is in good condition. The door must be able to open and close
manually without exerting excessive force. The movement must be regular. There
should be no points where you need more force than in others. The door must be well
balanced. The force needed to open should be similar to the force needed to close.
Verify that the wall above the center of the door is solid.
3.3 Installation:
Measure the door and calculate the center.
Make a vertical line above the center of the door in the wall. If it was necessary, it is
only allowed to move laterally a maximum of 10 cm.
Calculation of height:
Open and close the door slowly and observe the
maximum height reached during the door travel
path.
Mark the maximum height reached by the door
on the wall with a horizontal line, crossing the
vertical line over the center of the door.
Make another line 40 millimeters minimum and
300 mm maximum above the previous one. This is the height from which the brackets
of the guide to the wall must be placed.
There must be at least 80 millimeters between this line and the roof.
