secondary sieve bottom (12) with the levelling shims (13) on the bottom of the
kettle (1). Remember that the total charge (with its liquid and solid fractions) must
not exceed 70% of the appliance capacity.
Secure the charge. Close the kettle (1) with the lid (18) which has the cooling
tower (4) installed and secure with the safety latches (3).
Place the appliance on a heating unit (a gas burner, an electric cooker, an
induction cooker, or another source of heat capable of maintaining proper
operation of this appliance) and start heating the charge.
For RC-DSR20: The processed material charge can be monitored with the
dedicated alcohol meter (14) included with the appliance.
Aside from distillation, the appliance design facilitates fermentation and storage of
the produced material. The kettle lid as a receptacle to accommodate a suitable
fermenting coil. The dedicated accessory can be upgraded – contact the
manufacturer's sales office.
Before installing the fermenting coil in the receptacle, seal the threads with
the tape (included).
3.4. Cleaning and maintenance
a)
Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning.
b)
Only mild cleaning agents intended for surfaces in contact with food shall be
used to clean the appliance.
c)
After each cleaning, dry all components well before the appliance is used
again.
d)
Store the appliance in a dry and cool place, protected from moisture and direct
sunlight.
e)
Regularly inspect the appliance for technical defects and damage.
f)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
g)
Do not clean with any sharp and/or metal implements (e.g. a wire brush or
a metal scraper) as these may damage the surface of the appliance.
h)
Do not clean the appliance with acidic substances, medical products, thinners,
fuel, oil or other chemicals as they may damage it.
