a character entered in error (backspace), Press the Clear key.
- Press OK to accept the new SSID and display "Encryption =".
- Press "Select" to scroll through the following available encryption
options to change:
"None?"
"WEP Open?"
"WEP Shared Key?"
"WPA?"
"WPA2?"
- Press OK to accept the Encryption method displayed and to display
"KEY".
- Press OK to change or enter new WiFi Security Key or Press "Select" to
skip.
Note: If you selected an Encryption method above other than "None", you
must enter a Security Key. If you selected "None", the Security Key must
be left blank.
- Enter new Security Key by moving the cursor left or right by Pressing
the '<' or '>' and then Pressing "Select" to select each character (letter
or number). To change the case of the letters, Press the "CS" key. To
erase a character entered in error (backspace), Press the Clear key.
- Press OK to accept the Security Key and to display "TCP Port Number".
- Enter TCP Port Number (number between 1024 and 65534).
Note: This number must be the same as the one confi gured in the
Network Data Manager.
- Press OK to accept the TCP Port Number and to display "Use
Integrated WiFi Antenna?" or "Use External WiFi Antenna?".
- Press "Select" to switch between the two antenna options.
- Press OK to accept the WiFi Antenna option and display "Restart WiFi
connect sequence?".
- Press "SIGN OUT" to exit Service Mode.
Display WiFi module Information:
Note: This function is only available on fi rmware versions of 3.08 and
higher. It will only be available if the WiFi module has been enabled.
- Press OK to wake up touch pad.
- Enter Service Code and press OK.
- Press "FUNCTION" key until "Display WiFi module info?" is displayed.
- Press OK to display "MAC Address =" with the WiFi module's MAC
Address.
- Press OK to display "IP Address =" with the WiFi module's IP Address if
connected to the network.
Note: The IP Address will be needed to set up the WiFi Module in the
Network Data Manager.
- Press OK to display "Script Ver:, Firmware:" with the version numbers of
the WiFi Module script and fi rmware.
- Press OK to return to the Service Mode menu.
- Press "SIGN OUT" to exit Service Mode.
Display WiFi module Status:
Note: This function is only available on fi rmware versions of 3.08 and
higher. It will only be available if the WiFi module has been enabled.
- Press OK to wake up touch pad.
- Enter Service Code and press OK.
- Press "FUNCTION" key until "Display WiFi module status?" is displayed.
- Press OK to display "Con Stat:" and WiFi module connection status. If
attached to a wireless access point, with show "Connected to WAP".
- Press OK to display "Con Error:" with any error detected by the
Connection Sequence. Should show "No Error".
- Press OK to display "Svr Stat:" with the current status of the Server
Sequence. Usually should show "Waiting for Client to Connect".
- Press OK to display "Svr Err:" with any error detected by the Server
Sequence. Should show either "No Error" or "Remote socket closed".
- Press OK to display "Gnrl Err:" with any general error detected by the
WiFi module's operating script.
- Press OK to return to the Service Mode menu.
- Press "SIGN OUT" to exit Service Mode.

Reset the WiFi module:
Note: This function is only available on fi rmware versions of 3.08 and
higher. It will only be available if the WiFi module has been enabled.
- Press OK to wake up touch pad.
- Enter Service Code and press OK.
- Press "FUNCTION" key until "Reset the WiFi module?" is displayed.
- Press OK and "Please wait..." will be displayed before returning to the
Service Mode menu.
- Press "SIGN OUT" to exit Service Mode.
Display the Version Number:
- Press OK to wake up touchpad.
- Enter Service Code and press OK.
Note: The version number identifi es the touchpad software version.
- Press ''FUNCTION'' key several times until ''DISPLAY THE VERSION
NUMBER'' is displayed.
- Press OK and the version number will display.
- Press OK.
- Press ''SIGN OUT'' to exit Service Mode.
Reconfi gure Memory:
Note: All system IDs and system confi gurations are stored in the EEPROM
memory. To prevent an inadvertent choice of this test that will erase
EEPROPM memory, this function choice is hidden. It is only displayed if
the touch pad printed circuit board is exposed and the Service switch
(lower left corner of the circuit board) is simultaneously pressed.
After executing this function, only the default codes will remain in memory.
These include Set-up (311) and Service (911). All other IDs (user and
supervisor) will be lost.
To reconfi gure the memory:
- Allow the cart to 'go to sleep'.
- In the bottom of the cart, on the printed circuit board, press and hold the
''S2'' switch located on the front left-hand side of the board.
- While holding the ''S2'' switch, press OK to wake up the touchpad.
- Still holding the switch, enter ''911'' and press OK.
- Follow prompts to erase memory.
- Release the ''S2'' switch.
Press ''SIGN OUT'' to exit Service Mode.
Important:
Always adjust the Servomotor after reconfi guring memory. The battery
levels will not have to be reconfi gured but you should check these
levels as described elsewhere in this manual.
Section 10: Reset Switch
The Reset Switch allows for quick electrical recovery when the touch pad
is not responding. The reset switch is located on the back of the cart.
Nota: Before using the switch, ensure that the cart is unplugged from the
charger.
To Use Reset Switch (push-button style):
- Press the reset switch on rear of cart.
- Release switch.
- Power should be restored.
- If power is not restored, repeat the steps above.
To Use Reset Switch (on/off style switch):
- Shut off switch to disconnect power to the touchpad.
- After 30 seconds, turn switch on to restore power to the touchpad.
