3. Installation
Attach the Qube to the aquarium pane by using the holder. Don't twist the holder otherwise the cable within the
gooseneck could be damaged.
Attention: Please keep the light buttons clean and dry; also make sure your hands are dry before touching the
light, or the touch keys could fail.

On/Off Button (3)
Touch the On/Off button to turn the light on. After touching the On/Off button again, the Qube switches off.
When you turn the light on, it should illuminate at once. If not, please touch the dim button (2) to ensure that
the Qube 40 is dimmed up.
Dimmer button (2)
The overall brightness can be changed here by tapping several times. Individual LEDs cannot be dimmed because
the light colour has been optimized for keeping corals and other marine animals.
Time setting button (1)
24 h: In this mode, the light can be controlled via an external timer.
10 h: The light is on for 10 hours a day, counting from the time of programming. No external timer required.
6 h: The light is on for 6 hours a day, counting from the time of programming. No external timer required.
4. Maintenance and Care
1. Please protect the light from humidity, splash and condensate.
2. The fan inlet and outlet should be cleaned monthly, remove dust and any salt residues.
