without packaging. The tare is used to remove the weight of an item that should not
be included in the overall weight measurement.
ZERO (also used as TARE; display indicator) The zero function should only be used
when there is nothing on the pan and the display does not show "0". The scale may
not read "0" due to dust, dirt, or moisture on the weighing pan or when a heavy
object is dropped on the scale. The zeroing function essentially corrects the true
zero on the scale and informs it that there is nothing on the pan.

3.3.2. Counting function
Press MODE to enter the counting mode. "SP X" is displayed (X is the sample
number).
Press ↑ to select the number of samples from 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500. Press
ENTER to confirm.
After selecting the sample number, the message "LOAD-C" will appear on the
display. Place the appropriate number of samples, then press ENTER to end
sampling.
When the scale display shows "-LAC-", it means that the unit weight of the sample
is less than 80% of the graduation. You can still count, but counting may be
inaccurate. The signal will disappear after approximately 3 seconds.
When the display shows "-CSL-", it means that the unit weight of the sample is
insufficient. Please press MODE to take the sample again. Press ENTER to return to
the counting mode.
Press SET to exit the sampling state while taking a sample.
3.3.3. Percentage function
Press MODE in the percentage counting mode to display "LOAD-P". There are two
ways to take samples:
Place enough samples on the platform, then press ENTER to end sampling.
Press UNIT and the display will show "000000". Press ↑ and ENTER to enter
the weight value.
When the sample weighs less than 0.1% of FS (full load range), "-CSL-" will appear
in the scale window. This means that the sample is insufficient. Take the sample
again. Press MODE to take the sample again. Press ENTER to return to the weighing
mode.
Press SET to exit the sampling state while taking a sample.
3.3.4. Alarm setting - only for models SBS-PF-60 / 2A | SBS-PF-
300 / 10A | SBS-PF-150 / 5A | SBS-PF-30 / 1SA
1. High limit setting - press SET to display the set high limit value. The display will
alternately show "-HH-". Press ENTER to confirm and set the upper limit. Press ↑ to
set the number. When entering a number, press ↑ to add 1 to the last digit. Press
